Chinese Religions

This course surveys the evolution of the major religious traditions in China. The course considers the philosophies, beliefs, and practices of Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism. Particular attention is paid to classic philosophical texts, but literature in other genres might also be considered. (lec 3) cr 3. Prerequisites: 18 university credits.
