Constitutional Politics in Canada

This course examines the evolution of the constitutional debate in Canada. The purpose is threefold: first, the course provides an historical background in order to evaluate the stakes in the constitutional process; second, it illustrates how constitutional changes deeply affect Canadian political culture; and third, it analyses the changes in the constitutional landscape - specifically the role of governments and the role of citizens and citizens' groups.
