Contemporary Political Philosophy

This course examines the contemporary field of political philosophy, through a study of some of the most important issues facing the world today, including issues such as inequality, pluralism, multiculturalism, and reasonable accommodation. Theories of liberalism, libertarianism, Marxism, socialism, anarchism, and feminism are explored. PREREQ: 18 university credits. (lec 3) cr 3. Students may not retain credit for both PHIL 2407 and PHIL 2405.
