"This course on the fundamentals of grant-writing will provide students with excellent knowledge of writing grant applications. Beginning with information on types of grants and the current grant climate, the course will continue with the importance of preparation, the need for persuasive techniques.and explanations of the parts of the grant application and how to approach them. As the course proceeds, students will complete exercises to increase their understanding of the grant application process. Emphasis throughout will be on writing applications that strive for the perfection necessary to their success. "
