Statistical Models in Actuarial Science

This course considers core statistical modelling concepts and techniques used in Actuarial Science. Topics to be covered include tabular and parametric survival models, frequency, severity, and aggregate loss models, the construction of empirical models, the construction and selection of parametric models, and credibility theory. Prerequisites: MATH 3236. (lec 3) cr 3.
