Labour and Environmental Policy

This course examines interconnections between labour and environmental policy. It explores the environmental impacts of industrialization as well as the historical commitment of labour organizations to addressing environmental issues. It also considers alliances between labour and environmental actors in developing policies for a sustainable economy. Lec. 3 cr. Prerequisites: 18 credits of Labour Studies or permission from the department.
